Is this real Makeup?

We often get questions around how our pretend makeup products work.  We tried to cover this in our website, but the questions persist.  So, today, I wanted to quickly cover a couple of common misconceptions about the products.

First,  our makeup is not real.  It is pretend.  It looks real.  It feels real when you rub your finger across it but nothing transfers from the shadows, blushes, or compacts to your finger tip, brushes or any other surface that comes in contact with our makeup containers.  It is not supposed to transfer.  What do we mean by “transfer?”  No color, lotion, substance, nor any other liquid, fragrance, powder you might think of will move from the containers to your fingers, face, clothing, countertop, furniture or whatever other item may be in range of your little one.  Our design is focused on simulating the application of makeup… not actually applying it.  We wanted it to look and feel real, but not have the capacity to make a mess or get in her eye, etc.  Thus your little girl gets to pretend and you don’t have to worry about the customary mess that accompanies that pretending.

If you have further questions about this topic, please use the contact us form on our web page and we’ll clarify any questions you may have.
